OBJECTIVE 1 - SECURING 5 LICENSES IN COLORADO - GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS STRATEGY AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH TO ACHIEVE THE RESULT
Utilizing a unique brand of community outreach, five very challenging retail cannabis licenses were secured for The Green Solution. This result was achieved utilizing a multi-pronged approach involving a thoughtful regulator outreach, consumer protection narrative, and overall interconnected community involvement. Todd guided The Green Solution to grow their market share by building a more powerful brand trust within the consumer base they serve. By demonstrating a commitment to the community, educational outreach, product quality, and by offering an authentic perspective about everything from youth prevention to proper extraction standards regulators used to set the bar high for the entire industry, Team TMC made sure to leverage the community's thirst for education around cannabis to achieve key growth goals. In the end, because of his efforts, The Green Solution built trust in each city thus allowing expansion to occur.
OBJECTIVE 3 - CRISIS ASSISTANCE
When one of the license purchases for The Green Solution was in jeopardy, Todd Mitchem personal quickly sprung to action working with leadership to build a business plan to successfully save the license. He was successful by integrating with regulators, the community, and even the Marijuana Enforcement Division of the State of Colorado to correct the issue and secure the license. In the end, The Green Solution opened a beautiful store in one of the most desired locations in Denver, beating out competitors. It was the speed and accuracy of Todd’s strategy which made this happen against incredible odds.

OBJECTIVE - DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT LEADERSHIP COACHING INITIATIVE FOR 2500 STORE LEADERS
Working with the core learning and development team in Texas, Todd’s team built four custom leadership coaching solutions rolled out all over the United States. He also facilitated the kick-off of this learning at an annual RGM conference. Todd personally worked with the senior management to completely overhaul all Pizza Hut store management processes. Collaboratively, his team partnered to design a follow-up strategy for all RGMs and Area Coaches, which amounted to a “Meeting in a Box.” This learning transfer and reinforcement guide was critical to the widespread success of the Pizza Hut initiative.
From day one, Todd worked closely with the Director of People Development and her team so that each aspect of the scripting, video training, content, structural change, process implementation, deployment method, accompanying leadership training strategy and sustainability thinking was aligned.
Critical Pre-Work - Above and Beyond
Todd visited Pizza Hut restaurants, Senior Executives and customers to spend time in the actual environment where the changes would be applied. This “ride along” effort allowed all members of the team to build relevance into each learning component so that every piece of content looked and felt like the Pizza Hut brand. He then went above and beyond by embedding his team for two weeks in discovery with core Pizza Hut stores to draw out essential competencies for each component of change. Ultimately all goals were achieved in breakthrough fashion.

For this unique client challenge, a strategy was built for creating the team and quickly expanding High There’s reach to the United States by also negotiating with Apple a clear path to approving the app to be listed in the app store. Because of TMC’s negotiation and vision, High There was the first cannabis-related technology allowance. Todd Mitchem then personally implemented a powerful global expansion initiative which ultimately lead to rapid expansion when he became the CEO of this emerging brand.
OBJECTIVE 2 - SECURED INVESTMENT
Through investors networks, thrilling presentations and developing a long-term business plan of measured growth, Todd Mitchem and TMC helped High There to secure critical funding, then worked side by side with investors to communicate the vision so that more investors were attracted to the company. Ultimately, High There exceeded its financial goals and reached a valuation of over $100mil in less than a year.
OBJECTIVE 3 - WORK WITH STATE ATTORNEYS GENERAL TO LEVERAGE CONSUMER DATA
Because High There was the first global cannabis consumer social network, acquired data sets were extremely valuable to lawmakers and regulators. TMC forged the first ever cannabis and attorney general alliance network to articulate standards, consumer behaviors and ultimately help lawmakers better understand how to talk to the cannabis consumer.
OBJECTIVE 4 - BUILD AND IMPLEMENT PUBLIC RELATIONS STRATEGY
Todd as CEO, led High There to massive media success with over 500 original news stories and he acted as the spokesperson in each interview.
